Rowan No. 48
I picked up the autumn/winter 2010 Rowan magazine while at Romni Wools last weekend. I drooled over the pattern preview and couldn’t resist the chunky cables of the Nomad collection and vibrant colours of Russian Doll. I think I might have to tackle the Tamara mitts (in a different colour scheme) – just the thing to try out some colourwork!

Oh boy, it’s impossible to pick a favourite here. The rosey wrist warmers are incredible! And the vest in the top left picture… so beautiful, reminds me of something by Issey Miyake. But my absolute favourite, I think, is the wrap on the middle left… just so enveloping. Bring on Fall!!

I just love that man’s sweater – so classical yet modern. I am thinking about making it for my husband …
