The Purple Purl is 2!
The Purple Purl is my local yarn shop. I was so happy the day it opened – a yarn shop was just what Leslieville was missing! They carry some great Canadian yarns (Tanis Fiber Arts, Mission Falls and Indigo Moon), as well as many international brands. It’s such a cozy little shop, and as an added bonus they have coffee and cookies. Today they celebrated their 2nd birthday. There was cake and all purple yarn was on sale to celebrate. I walked away with some charcoal yarn (no purple for me, this time) and some purple stitch markers (a gift from Jennifer and Miko). It’s so nice to see someone’s dream succeed – congratulations Jennifer and Miko!

That was a very informative post. Thank you. I’m on a quest to get to know Toronto better and Leslieville sounds like a nice area to visit specially with the extra bonus of a nice yarn shop, after all can never know too many yarn shops!
